Want to know how to fly and travel with carry on only?
Planepack provides advice, tips, interviews and podcasts to fly and travel light.
I did a styling course with the Australian College of Professional Styling. I wanted to get a better understanding of style: what does this mean, and how can I apply it to light travel?
I started thinking about the origin of style: who were my influencers? What could I apply from my lessons learnt? How could these impact upon light travel? This led me to personal reflections, like how did it feel when the airlines lost my luggage?
I decided to speak to other women about this concept of style. I interviewed a range of other fellow light travellers to see and hear what they have to say.
The outcome of my reflection on style has confirmed that to travel light, it's essential to have an understanding of one's own style preferences. Mine are plain, classic and practical. I hope that by reading and digging into Planepack's light style guides, you too will find your preferred colour and travel style to enable you to travel with ease.
I’m going to Belgrade and Montenegro. This year I’m joined by Denis, a Parisian urban sketcher. We’re spending a week at the coast, capturing Tivat and surrounds.
Some airlines have increased the weight limit for carry-on luggage. Check the new weights.
I showcase a weekend getaway wardrobe for the coast or for the countryside. Always planning for light travel!
What do I take in my handbag? How big is my bag? Usually bigger than this purse! This is my essential handbag packing list.
